All packages can be customized. I can also help coordinate hair & makeup, flowers, cake, videography, drone photography, and officiants — just ask. Destination weddings and travel outside the Oakhurst / Yosemite area are available; travel fees apply.
Up to 15 guests, 4 hours of coverage. Built for couples who want something intimate and real, not a production. I know Yosemite's permits, light, and best-kept spots. You just show up.

Twenty years in, I've seen a lot. Rain, wardrobe malfunctions, timeline chaos, difficult family members. I don't rattle easily. My job is to keep my camera up and my energy calm so you can keep enjoying your day.
Yes. I'm based in Oakhurst (20 minutes from Yosemite's south gate) and travel regularly throughout California — including back to Temecula wine country and San Diego, where I shot weddings for years. For destinations further out, travel fees apply. Just ask.
50% of your total package is due to book. The retainer is non-refundable — it's what reserves your date exclusively for you and takes it off the market. The remaining balance is due before your wedding day.
Roughly 50–75 images per hour of coverage — so an 8-hour wedding typically delivers 400–600 photos. That said, I'm telling your story, not hitting a quota. Some moments are worth ten frames; some are captured perfectly in one.
Wear what makes you feel like yourselves — genuinely comfortable, not "trying to look nice for photos" comfortable. One practical note: avoid busy patterns and fine stripes, which don't love cameras. If we're heading somewhere adventurous, bring shoes you can actually walk in.
Yosemite requires a permit for wedding ceremonies in the park.
The good news: I'm happy to walk you through exactly what you need. It's not as complicated as it sounds, and it's absolutely worth it.
Heather made us feel comfortable and relaxed (photos can be stressful, for sure). She fulfilled our every request on where/what to shoot and in the end, we had more amazing wedding photos than we could have ever thought possible.
The pictures are beyond beautiful and our family and friends are still raving over them 7 months after the wedding. High quality photography was at the top of my wedding wish list and my expectations were exceeded.
