Hey there everyone!
I wanted to take a quick minute to talk about something important. By now, I’m sure you’ve all heard of the coronavirus and its impact worldwide. While at the very least this is distressing, I wanted to assure you that my business and I are prepared.
I’m have been following and staying updated on the latest information (Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization), acting responsibly by avoiding travel to outbreak hotspots, meeting clients/vendors/employees online instead of in person if someone isn’t feeling well, and swapping hugs/handshakes for a friendly wave.
Additionally, I’m making sure that all of my clients know what to expect from me as per our contract. With that being said, my approach may be different on a client/case by case basis as many of you have signed contracts at different times (which has evolved over the previous year) and some wedding dates are approaching quicker than others and might be affected.
I’m highly recommending that all my clients purchase event liability and cancelation insurance if you have an event and wedding booked within the next 6 months. You can check out wedsafe.com for more details. Protect yourself and your wedding day.
Help protect yourself against financial loss that could result from a wedding mishap or vendor incident. Wedding Liability Insurance is now required by many wedding venues.
Reimbursement is available for your financial losses or expenses if you’re forced to postpone or cancel your wedding.
I know how stressful wedding planning can be, and this certainly doesn’t help!
As of right now the Temecula Valley has had little to no impact from the coronavirus and because of this, I have every intention of fulfilling my role at your wedding. Of course, if anything should change with my plans, you will be the first to know.
In order to be proactive as we can be, please reach out to me if you have concerns about your wedding happening as planned and contracted. With travel bans in place and many cities and states actively placing government and businesses on quarantine, I’m extremely sensitive to how this will effect your upcoming wedding.
This has been a hot topic in the industry over the last week and I have had some clients reach out with concerns as well, so please reach out to me sooner rather than later if you’re needing to postpone your event, wedding, or phot shoot.
I want you all to know I’m here for you as a human first and not a business owner to have an open dialog of how this all could potentially affect your event.
Sending you all the positive vibes + love!
Heather
